Job summary

Grant Thornton in the UK seeks an Associate Director in Value Creation Advisory. You will lead day-to-day client work on transactions, from due diligence to execution, shaping operating models and driving EBITDA improvements.

The role requires handling senior stakeholder communications, proposing sales opportunities, mentoring juniors, and occasional travel across the UK and abroad. Strong English, finance background, and advisory experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Significant advisory experience on carve-outs, integrations or value-creation work.
• Experience leading small teams in fast-paced environments.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality written reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day client work for a range of project sizes, including client meetings and deliverables.
• Interpret complex information and identify core issues for the engagement.
• Support and mentor junior colleagues and manage project teams when required.
• Prepare sales proposals and assist with wider sales efforts alongside Directors and Partners.
• Travel within the UK and internationally as client needs require.
