Job summary

Grant Thornton in the UK is seeking an Associate Director to lead Value Creation Advisory engagements across carve-outs, integrations and post-deal work. You’ll manage client work, develop strategy, and oversee risk and deliverables on projects of varying size.

You’ll work closely with Directors and Partners, prepare proposals, and mentor junior colleagues while travelling in the UK and internationally to deliver client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in carve-outs, integrations and value creation work.
• Advisory/professional services background with leadership exposure.
• High attention to detail with strong written reports and Excel analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day client work for a range of project sizes and lead teams on larger projects.
• Interpret complex information and articulate key issues for clients.
• Prepare sales proposals and support wider sales efforts with Directors and Partners.
• Mentor junior colleagues and support internal initiatives within the practice.
• Travel in the UK and internationally to satisfy client requirements.
