Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking an Associate Director in Value Creation Advisory to lead client engagements, drive strategic value through pre- and post-deal work, and manage project teams across transactions. You will shape operating models, drive cost reductions, and support revenue growth initiatives for diverse clients.

The role requires extensive advisory experience, strong communication, and ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

Significant experience in carve-outs, due diligence, integrations and value creation work across advisory services.
Experience leading small teams in fast-paced environments.
Excellent written and verbal English with ability to tailor for stakeholders.
Proven ability to prepare high-quality reports, Excel analyses and presentations.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day client work for a range of project sizes and manage delivery.
Interpret and analyse large volumes of data to identify key issues.
Support and mentor junior colleagues within the VCA practice.
Prepare sales proposals, pitches and support wider business development.
Assist Directors/Partners with day-to-day running of the VCA practice and internal initiatives.
