Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking an Associate Director in Value Creation Advisory (VCA) to lead day-to-day client work, guide analyses and deliverables, and manage risk and commercial aspects of engagements. You will develop proposals, support sales, and collaborate with Directors and Partners to win opportunities.

The role requires leading small teams on complex tasks, strong English communication, and the ability to travel within the UK and internationally.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in advisory/professional services, with carve-out and value creation work.
• Ability to lead small teams in fast-paced environments and manage client relationships.
• Strong written reports, Excel analyses and presentations with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day client work for a range of project sizes, including meetings, analysis and high-quality deliverables.
• Interpret and analyse large volumes of complex information to identify critical issues.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and take a lead role on larger projects.
• Prepare sales proposals, pitches and support wider sales efforts with Directors and Partners.
• Support junior colleagues and potentially act as people manager for some staff.
