Job summary

Grant Thornton UK LLP is seeking an Associate Director in Value Creation Advisory (VCA). You will lead day-to-day client work on diverse projects, manage analyses, and drive execution of value-creation initiatives across carve-outs and post-deal integrations.

You will collaborate with UK and international teams, mentor junior colleagues, and support sales initiatives while maintaining high-quality client deliverables. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in advisory/professional services, with multi-project exposure.
• Experience leading small teams in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication at varied stakeholder levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel for high-quality client deliverables.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day client work across project sizes, including client meetings and deliverables.
• Interpret and analyse large volumes of complex information to identify key issues.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment and lead when necessary.
• Prepare sales proposals and support wider sales efforts with Directors/Partners.
• Support junior colleagues and potentially manage people within the team.
• Assist Directors/Partners with day-to-day running of the VCA practice and internal initiatives.
