Job summary

Grant Thornton UK seeks an Associate Director for Value Creation Advisory (VCA). You will lead day-to-day client work across various project sizes, run client meetings, perform analyses, and deliver high-quality client deliverables while managing risk and commercial considerations.

You’ll work with Directors and Partners on proposals, mentor junior staff, and help drive sales efforts within the VCA practice, focusing on carve-outs, integrations and value-creation initiatives to maximise

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in carve-outs, integrations and value creation within advisory/professional services.
• Experience leading small teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong written reports, Excel analyses and presentations.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication.
• Travel flexibility within the UK and internationally.
• Experience using AI tools in delivery while applying professional judgement.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day client work for a range of project sizes, including client meetings and analysis.
• Interpret and analyse large volumes of complex information and identify key issues.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and lead small teams when needed.
• Prepare sales proposals and support wider sales efforts with Directors/Partners.
• Support junior colleagues and offer development guidance.
• Assist Directors and Partners with day-to-day running of the VCA practice.
