Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking an experienced Value Creation Advisory Associate Director to lead day-to-day client work on diverse projects, including carve-outs and integrations. You will drive analysis, prepare high-quality reports, and contribute to sales efforts with Directors and Partners.

You will mentor junior colleagues, manage projects, and apply strong technical skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and AI tools to maximize transaction value for clients across UK and international markets.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in two core value-creation service groups: carve-outs, integrations, or related value-creation work.
• Experience leading small teams in fast-paced environments.
• Proven ability to prepare and review high-quality reports, Excel analyses, and presentations with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; ability to tailor style for stakeholders.
• Experience in project management, change management, or transformation.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day client work across varied project sizes, including client meetings, analysis, and deliverables.
• Interpret and analyze large volumes of complex information to identify key issues.
• Foster a positive team environment and contribute to team leadership and mentorship.
• Prepare sales proposals, pitches, and support wider sales efforts with Directors and Partners.
• Support the wider team and potentially manage junior staff; delegate tasks appropriately.
• Assist Directors and Partners with day-to-day running of the VCA practice and internal initiatives.
