Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a strategic Service Designer to join our growing design capability. You’ll operate at the heart of multidisciplinary teams to shape end-to-end services that are accessible, efficient, and centered around real user needs.

You’ll lead service blueprints, journeys, and workshops, collaborating with content, interaction design, product managers, researchers, and technical leads. Embrace an inclusive, outcomes-focused culture and deliver measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals of service design and ability to apply them to drive measurable impact.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and set direction for teams.
• Strategic thinking to design scalable services built to last.
• Inclusive by default; advocate accessibility and inclusion.
• Clear communication, adapting messages for different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Set and align around a clear service vision and shared direction.
• Facilitate workshops to drive alignment, clarity and decisions.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to co-create solutions.
• Work within agile, multidisciplinary teams to deliver iteratively.
• Create service blueprints and journey maps to reveal complexity and enable informed decisions.
