Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Procurement Manager to join its Southern Water team based in Brighton. You will support sourcing, negotiation and governance of goods and subcontract procurement, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver value while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and frameworks.

Based in Falmer with hybrid working, the role requires a degree, CIPS or progression, and strong experience in infrastructure/utilities, including civil engineering and MEICA.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree (or equivalent) with procurement experience.
• Chartered CIPS membership or working towards chartership.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing, negotiating and governance of goods and subcontract procurement.
• Ensure procurement policies for Kier Group and Framework are followed, including HSE accreditation and sustainability standards.
• Develop and manage preferred suppliers and strategic partnerships to ensure value for money services.
• Lead compliance of Framework contract obligations and drive client approval processes.
• Manage procurement activities, develop project procurement plans and attend client workshops.
