Informed Recruitment Limited is assisting a social enterprise in Birmingham to appoint a Strategic Procurement Manager who will lead end-to-end procurement activity.

The role focuses on frameworks, contracts and call-off agreements, with hybrid working 3 days in Birmingham and 2 from home, and requires strong public sector knowledge.

You will drive compliant procurements, maintain legislative updates, and build value through supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Successful commercial track record in end-to-end procurements and major contracts.
• Thorough knowledge of public sector procurement and PA23/Regulations.
• Experience of procurement frameworks and contracts.
• Consultative approach based on building relationships, with ability to deliver results.
• Understanding of creating value and managing costs in a fast-paced environment.
• MCIPS qualified, progression towards the qualification, or demonstrable experience in lieu of.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities for the organisation, delivering compliant procurements.
• Manage framework agreements, long-term contracts, call-off agreements and digital purchasing systems.
• Maintain up-to-date legislative knowledge and ensure procurement transparency and records.
