Job summary

National Grid plc is seeking a Governance and Change Analyst to help deliver robust PMO governance and ensure capital projects are delivered on time, to cost and to the required quality. The role supports the governance framework, data insights and performance reporting across Asset Operations.

Reporting to the Head of PMO, you will translate complex data into actionable recommendations, assist in cost management and risk governance, and work with delivery teams across UK offices, including

Qualifications

• Experience within PMO, portfolio or project controls in complex delivery environments with governance across cost, risk, schedule and change.
• Highly analytical with ability to interpret complex data and provide clear insights for decision making.
• Knowledge of risk management practices, including facilitating workshops and quantitative risk analysis.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support the application of PMO governance according to the roadmap and standards.
• Monitor and report on cost, risk, schedule and change data against baselines.
• Produce and maintain metrics, dashboards and change data.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for PMO leads.
• Support cost management activities including forecasting, budgeting and governance.
• Analyse integrated planning and scheduling to reflect dependencies, risks and priorities.
• Operate risk, issue and change management processes, ensuring data quality and governance across cost, schedule and risk.
• Collaborate with PMO analysts, offshore resources and stakeholders across Asset Operations and wider business functions.
