Job summary

National Grid is seeking a Governance and Change Analyst to support the Asset Operations capital projects portfolio. You will help drive governance, assurance and change control, delivering insights from data to inform decisions and optimise delivery.

The role collaborates across Finance, Delivery teams and regulatory reporting, with hybrid working patterns and regular Warwick collaboration. The role emphasizes strengthening PMO processes, tools and ways of working while ensuring alignment with

Qualifications

• Experience in PMO, portfolio or project controls in complex delivery environments.
• Highly analytical with ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
• Knowledge of risk management practices and schedule risk analysis.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to manage stakeholders.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience in governance, assurance or change control in capital-intensive environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support PMO governance by following the roadmap and standards to ensure effective portfolio oversight.
• Monitor and report cost, risk, schedule and change data against baselines.
• Produce and maintain metrics, dashboards and change data for leadership.
• Translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for PMO leads.
• Support cost management activities including forecasting and budget tracking.
• Analyse planning and scheduling to ensure credible delivery plans with key dependencies and risks.
• Operate risk, issue and change management processes across cost, schedule and risk.
• Collaborate with PMO analysts and stakeholders to support regulatory and performance reporting and drive process improvements.
