Job summary

National Grid is seeking a Governance and Change Analyst to join the Asset Operations PMO. You will help drive governance across cost, risk, schedule and change, enabling safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of capital projects.

Reporting to the Head of PMO, you will work with offshore resources and stakeholders across Asset Operations to deliver robust reporting, insights and continuous improvement in PMO processes while supporting flexible working patterns including Warwick visits.

Qualifications

• Experience in PMO, portfolio or project controls in complex delivery environments; ideally supporting capital projects, programmes or portfolios.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Knowledge of risk management practices, including facilitating workshops and quantitative/schedule risk analysis.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills; able to challenge, drive change and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support PMO governance, following the roadmap and organisational standards to ensure portfolio oversight.
• Monitor and report on cost, risk, schedule and change data against baselines.
• Produce and maintain metrics, dashboards and change data for governance.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for PMO leads.
• Support cost management activities, including forecasting and budget tracking with Finance and delivery teams.
• Analyse integrated planning and scheduling to ensure credible delivery plans reflecting dependencies and priorities.
• Operate risk, issue and change management processes, facilitating risk reviews and ensuring changes are properly assessed and implemented.
• Collaborate with PMO analysts and stakeholders across Asset Operations to support regulatory reporting and continuous improvement.
