Job summary

National Grid is seeking a PMO Performance Analyst to join our Asset Operations team in the UK. You will support portfolio governance, turning trusted data into insights that guide delivery, risk management and continuous improvement.

You will develop Power BI dashboards and reporting frameworks, collaborate with stakeholders across offices, and drive data quality and reliable performance data to support regulatory and business reporting needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in PMO, project controls, portfolio reporting, governance or performance analysis within a complex delivery environment.
• Experience supporting capital projects, programmes or portfolios with governance controls and assurance processes.
• Understanding of project performance measures across cost, risk, schedule and change, with ability to interpret data and identify trends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate portfolio reporting and assurance aligned with PMO roadmap and standards.
• Monitor performance against baselines across cost, risk, schedule and change, highlighting exceptions and dependencies.
• Develop and maintain performance frameworks, metrics and KPIs linking objectives to outcomes.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and visuals to support data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and generate effective reporting solutions.
• Analyse trends and risks, presenting findings clearly to PMO and business stakeholders.
• Support cost management activities including forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis.
• Support planning and scheduling by maintaining portfolio information and monitoring milestones.
• Maintain risk, issue and change management data and ensure changes are reflected across cost, schedule and risk.
