Job summary

National Grid is seeking a PMO Performance Analyst to join the Asset Operations team. You will support portfolio governance, controls and performance insights across a capital portfolio, turning trusted data into insights to guide decisions and improvements.

You will develop Power BI dashboards, work with stakeholders to define reporting needs, and help manage cost, risk, schedule and change while driving continuous improvement and data quality across the programme.

Qualifications

• Experience in a PMO, project controls, portfolio reporting or governance in a complex delivery environment.
• Experience supporting capital projects, programmes or portfolios.
• Ability to interpret cost, risk, schedule and change performance data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience developing dashboards with Power BI and Tableau.
• Data modelling and data visualization concepts with relational data sources.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Organised, proactive with continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain PMO governance and portfolio reporting through accurate data.
• Monitor cost, risk, schedule and change baselines and highlight issues.
• Develop performance frameworks and KPIs linked to strategic goals.
• Create Power BI dashboards and visuals from trusted data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting needs.
• Analyze trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Support cost management, forecasting, budgeting and cost governance.
• Support planning and scheduling with milestone tracking.
• Maintain risk, issue and change data and ensure integrity.
• Prepare materials for portfolio performance reviews.
• Coordinate with Data, Governance to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Work with PMO colleagues including offshore resources to improve processes.
