National Grid in the United Kingdom is hiring a Governance and Change Analyst to support Asset Operations capital projects, delivering safe, on‑time, on‑budget outcomes. You will drive governance, assurance and change controls, translating data into actionable insights for PMO leads and senior stakeholders.

Reporting to the Head of PMO, you’ll collaborate with delivery teams, finance and regulatory functions, contributing to continuous improvement of PMO processes and tools across a high‑value

Qualifications

• Experience within PMO, portfolio or project controls in complex delivery environments.
• Highly analytical with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear, actionable insights.
• Knowledge of risk management practices and schedule risk analysis.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to challenge, drive change and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the application of PMO governance, following the PMO roadmap and organisational standards, ensuring effective portfolio oversight and control.
• Monitor and report on cost, risk, schedule and change data, ensuring projects remain controlled and performing against baselines.
• Produce and maintain metrics, dashboards and change data.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for PMO leads.
• Support cost management activities, including forecasting, budget tracking and cost governance with Finance and delivery teams.
• Analyse integrated planning and scheduling to ensure delivery plans reflect dependencies, risks and priorities.
• Operate risk, issue and change management processes, facilitating risk reviews and ensuring changes are assessed and implemented.
• Work with PMO analysts and stakeholders to support regulatory and performance reporting and drive continuous improvement.
