Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Major Programmes Lead / Senior Programme Director or Programme Management Office Director to drive end-to-end delivery of £250m+ capital programmes. You will balance strategic leadership with hands-on governance across multi-disciplinary teams and complex stakeholder environments.

You will lead programme controls, commercial governance and health & safety leadership, while engaging with C-suite stakeholders to secure alignment and deliver tangible client benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering large-scale transformation/real estate programmes (£250m-£500m+).
• Ability to lead complex programmes through full lifecycle and realise benefits.
• Strong project delivery background in construction environments.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across project controls, technical and commercial groups.
• Excellent communication with C-suite and senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of NEC, JCT contracts and procurement routes.
• Health and safety leadership and CDM understanding.
• Education and professional accreditation as listed.

Responsibilities

• Define and champion programme vision aligned with client objectives.
• Lead governance, reporting and assurance for large capital projects.
• Engage with senior clients, boards and investors to secure alignment.
• Oversee financial governance, forecasting and value delivery.
• Manage risk strategy and safety leadership across programmes.
• Drive business development and client relationship growth.
