Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Major Programmes Lead / Senior Programme Director or Programme Management Office Director to drive £500m+ capital programmes across complex sectors. You will provide strategic leadership, operate between programme leadership and project detail, and influence key stakeholders to deliver decisive investments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering high-profile, large-scale transformation/real estate programmes (£250-£500m+).
• Ability to prioritise and optimise complex programmes through the lifecycle.
• Strong project delivery background with leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with construction delivery models, procurement routes and contracts (NEC, JCT).
• Excellent communication at C-suite level and proven stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of health and safety leadership and CDM/Building Safety requirements.
• Experience in governance, controls and financial stewardship of programmes.
• Ability to identify growth opportunities and contribute to business development.

Responsibilities

• Define and champion the programme vision aligned to client objectives and investment strategies.
• Lead the delivery of major capital programmes across the full lifecycle.
• Provide visible leadership across multidisciplinary teams and establish governance frameworks.
• Engage with senior clients, boards, and investors to secure alignment and decisions.
• Oversee forecasting, reporting, investment controls and value management.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies and safety leadership.
• Lead commercial management and drive client satisfaction and growth opportunities.
