Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Programme Manager to lead complex capital programmes and to translate strategic objectives into measurable outcomes. You will guide governance, drive delivery across multiple workstreams, and act as a trusted advisor to clients and senior stakeholders.

The role requires strong leadership, governance discipline, and excellent communication to manage risks, dependencies, and performance across multi-disciplinary teams in a demanding construction environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering major capital programmes across construction sectors.
• Knowledge of MSP, PMI and governance practices.
• Background in project delivery within construction environments.
• Understanding of procurement routes and contracts (NEC, JCT).
• Familiar with schedule, cost, risk and opportunity management.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills.
• Awareness of CDM and Building Safety Act health and safety requirements.
• Commitment to high performance and talent development.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide programme leadership for small to large scale real estate programmes.
• Establish and embed governance and control frameworks.
• Engage stakeholders and produce professional status reports.
• Oversee financial oversight and reporting for the programme.
• Lead on risk identification and health & safety considerations.
• Manage programme logs, data quality, and governance secretariat.
