Job summary

Artis HR are supporting a leading organisation in Cardiff to appoint an Internal Communications Lead on a 6 month fixed-term contract. This hands-on role focuses on people, helping colleagues understand what is happening across the organisation and why it matters.

You’ll work with senior leaders to shape messages, plan campaigns across multiple channels, and provide practical communications advice while ensuring content is clear, engaging and joined up.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in internal communications within a complex organisation.
• Ability to plan and deliver communications across multiple channels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, translating complex information.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and providing practical advice.
• Experience managing or developing others and strong project management.
• Attention to detail and sound judgement in a regulated organisation advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of internal communications plans aligned to business priorities.
• Develop clear, engaging messages translating complex information.
• Work with senior and operational stakeholders to provide practical guidance.
• Plan and deliver internal campaigns across multiple channels.
• Support People, change and sensitive communications activity.
• Manage day-to-day internal comms channels and ensure timely content.
• Collaborate with Communications, HR and other teams.
• Use feedback and basic measurement to improve.
• Support and develop colleagues within the team.
