Job summary

Artis HR are supporting a leading organisation with the appointment of an Internal Communications Lead to join their Communications team on a 6 month fixed-term contract.

This is a hands‑on internal communications role with a strong People focus, supporting communications that help colleagues understand what is happening across the organisation, why it matters and how it connects to wider business priorities.

Qualifications

• Solid internal communications experience in a complex organisation.
• Experience planning and delivering communications across multiple channels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to simplify complex information.
• Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and offering practical advice.
• Experience supporting or managing others, developing people and capability.
• Strong organisation and project management, handling multiple priorities.
• Collaborative, pragmatic approach with attention to detail and sound judgement.
• Experience in a large or regulated organisation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of internal communications plans aligned to wider business priorities.
• Developing clear, engaging messages that translate complexity for colleagues.
• Advising senior and operational stakeholders with practical communications guidance.
• Planning and delivering internal campaigns across multiple channels.
• Supporting People, change and sensitive communications activity.
• Managing day-to-day internal communications channels for timeliness and relevance.
• Collaborating with Communications, HR and other teams.
• Using feedback and basic metrics to improve delivery.
• Supporting and developing colleagues within the communications team.
