Job summary

A leading professional services firm in the UK is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee all aspects of financial operations within its UK office. The role will involve managing daily finance tasks, ensuring compliance with UK regulations, and mentoring the finance team. Ideal candidates should be ACA qualified, possess strong accounting knowledge, and have at least 5 years' experience in finance. Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in finance and accounting, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Previous experience managing or leading a team is required.
• Familiarity with UK partnership tax is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance operations in London including general ledger and accounts payable.
• Deliver accurate monthly financial results and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead cost budgeting and revenue forecasting for the UK office.
• Oversee cash flow management, VAT returns, and annual partnership tax return.
• Ensure compliance with Solicitors' Accounts Rules and firmwide internal controls.
• Support implementation and improvement of financial systems.
• Supervise and mentor local finance team.
