Job summary

SF Partners is recruiting a Finance Director for an established business operating across a complex, multi-entity environment. The role covers two sites, leading the finance function, strengthening reporting and controls, and supporting commercial performance.

You’ll combine strong technical accounting with a commercial mindset, challenging the business, driving process improvements and enabling better decision making. Experience with acquisitions or international operations would be beneficial.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with senior finance leadership experience.
• Experience of finance reporting, controls and governance.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering or distribution sectors is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance team with clear accountability and high standards.
• Take ownership of financial reporting, statutory compliance, audit, controls and governance.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and working capital.
• Collaborate with operational and commercial leaders to improve performance and profitability.
• Improve financial systems, reporting and processes.
• Support strategic projects, including potential acquisitions and integration.
