Job summary

F5 Networks, Inc. is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive strategic, multi-year engagements with Global Financial Services institutions across banking, markets, and asset management.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage executive relationships, and orchestrate partners to deliver measurable business outcomes. You will combine deep sector understanding with disciplined account planning, navigating complex organisations to accelerate long-term growth and customer success.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of UK Financial Services operating models including Tier 1 banks, building societies, and payments organisations.
• Strong knowledge of operational resilience, risk management, cloud governance, cyber security, and regulatory landscapes.
• Proven ability to build trusted advisor relationships beyond IT stakeholders into business and executive functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year account strategies aligned to customer priorities and regulatory initiatives.
• Map stakeholders across business, operations, security, and executive levels.
• Establish executive sponsorship programs to align F5 with customer leadership.
• Act as trusted advisor, understanding objectives, risks, and market dynamics.
• Identify opportunities to deliver measurable business value beyond product needs.
• Drive customer success and long-term relationship growth through proactive engagement.
• Lead executive-to-executive engagements, business reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
• Communicate business value to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Coordinate with partners and VARs to expand influence and opportunities.
• Develop joint strategies with partners to support customer transformation.
