Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the Real Estate team is seeking an experienced Engineering Design Manager to join a high-profile infrastructure portfolio. You will lead design input on multi-disciplinary projects from concept through delivery, ensuring designs are buildable, compliant, and efficient, while collaborating with clients and contractors.

Minimum five years' design and management experience is required; BIM and CAD (AutoCAD or Revit) familiarity is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of design and management experience.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary teams and full project lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and data environments.
• Degree/HNC in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• Excellent communication with clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead design input on multi-disciplinary projects from concept through delivery.
• Manage external design consultants under contract and ensure duties are discharged.
• Liaise with Clients, Engineering Managers, Project Managers, Contractors and Consultants.
• Evaluate designs and solutions to meet project requirements.
• Ensure designs are buildable, compliant, innovative and efficient.
