Job summary

AECOM seeks a Capture Management Lead to drive strategic growth in the UK Water sector. You will own pursuit strategies from identification through submission, directing discovery, differentiation and delivery strategies for major opportunities.

Reporting to the Water Strategy & Growth Director, you will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and build client relationships to secure multi‑million pound opportunities while enabling collaboration across global regions and business lines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in capture strategy development
• Proven ability to lead strategic and complex pursuit strategies
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders across regions and functions
• Ability to build client-centric value propositions
• Strong understanding of pursuit governance and budgets
• Experience in Water industry is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise critical pursuits from identification to submission
• Develop and implement win strategies and client positioning
• Coordinate across marketing, technical, operations and commercial teams
• Manage pursuit governance, budgets and team composition
• Foster collaboration with global and regional leaders to grow the pipeline
• Coach bid teams and writers to deliver compelling content
