Galliford Try Group is seeking a talented Bid Writer to join our environment bid and proposals team in the UK. You will craft compelling, client-focused content that clearly communicates our capabilities, experience and value propositions for tender submissions across infrastructure projects.

You will work with Bid Managers, operational teams and Subject Matter Experts to ensure high-quality, compliant responses, within deadlines, while exploring innovative approaches and AI-enabled tools to

Formación

• Significant bid writing experience in construction, infrastructure, utilities, or energy sectors.
• Proven success developing tender submissions for major projects or frameworks.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and subject matter experts.
• Understanding of public and private sector procurement processes.
• Willingness to travel domestically.

Responsabilidades

• Develop high-quality written submissions aligned with client requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Draft, edit and review bid responses for clarity, consistency and compliance.
• Review tender documentation and bid deliverables in detail.
• Support bid planning and coordination meetings throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality qualitative responses.
• Collaborate with operational teams to define bid responsibilities.
• Engage SMEs to develop compelling, evidence-based submissions.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of the bid function and processes.
• Support adoption of AI-enabled tools to improve bid writing.
