Job summary

Galliford Try Group is seeking an experienced Senior Bid Manager to lead high-quality bids within its Environment Business in the UK. You will manage complex tender programmes, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure governance-compliant submissions to secure new work.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and experience with client engagements across infrastructure projects. A proactive leader will drive continuous improvement and high submission quality.

Qualifications

• Significant bid management experience in construction or infrastructure.
• Proven track record securing major contracts and framework agreements.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary bid teams and managing complex tender programmes.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of risk management principles.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead major tender submissions and framework opportunities.
• Develop bid programmes and manage governance milestones.
• Coordinate and produce compelling, client-focused bid submissions.
• Draft, review and enhance technical and quality responses.
