Galliford Try Group is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to lead the development and delivery of high-quality bids across our Environment Business. You will own complex tender opportunities, manage multi-disciplinary teams and ensure governance, quality and timely submission.

You will build strong client relationships, develop winning strategies and coordinate responses through client portals such as Bravo and Ariba, driving profitable growth for the division.

Qualifikationen

• Significant bid management experience in construction, infrastructure, utilities, engineering or energy sectors.
• Proven track record securing major contracts and framework agreements.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary bid teams and managing complex tender programmes.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of risk management principles.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality submissions to challenging timescales.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead major tender submissions and framework opportunities across the Environment Business.
• Develop and manage bid programmes with deadlines and governance milestones.
• Coordinate and produce client-focused bid submissions.
• Draft, review and enhance technical and quality responses to maximise scoring opportunities.
• Chair bid team meetings and manage stakeholder contributions throughout the bid lifecycle.
• Define responsibilities for operational teams and Subject Matter Experts.
• Lead tender reviews and progress reporting to senior management.
• Manage submission processes through portal platforms including Bravo and Ariba.
• Present bids and approval papers through governance processes.
• Support mobilisation and client engagement activities after contract award.
• Promote continuous improvement and lessons learned across the bid function.
• Ensure submissions comply with BMS requirements and governance.
