Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking a skilled Bid Writer to join our Environment Business and support high-quality tender submissions. You will work closely with Bid Managers, operational teams and Subject Matter Experts to develop compelling, client-focused content that communicates our capabilities, experience and value propositions.

This role is pivotal to winning new work and delivering against strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality submissions aligned with client requirements.
• Edit and review bid responses for clarity and compliance.
• Review tender documentation and bid deliverables in detail.
• Support bid planning and coordination throughout the tender lifecycle.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality responses.
• Define bid responsibilities with operational teams.
• Engage Subject Matter Experts to develop evidence-based submissions.
• Ensure compliance with Galliford Try BMS processes and procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the bid function.
• Explore innovative bid-writing approaches, including AI-enabled tools.
