VERTEC SERVICES Ltd is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for a hybrid role in Sheffield. You will identify and win new business opportunities across Construction, M&E, and Engineering, building relationships with contractors and clients, and managing a healthy sales pipeline.

The role requires a proven track record in business development, a strong network of industry contacts, and the ability to work independently. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Business Development, Sales Manager, or Commercial role within Construction, M&E, Engineering, Building Services, or related sectors.
• Strong network of industry contacts and decision-makers.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new business opportunities across Construction, M&E, and Engineering sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with Main Contractors, M&E Contractors, Developers, Consultants, and End Clients.
• Leverage your network to generate opportunities and maximise revenue.
• Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline.
• Attend networking events, industry exhibitions, and client meetings.
• Prepare and present proposals, tenders, and commercial presentations.
• Work closely with operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Achieve and exceed sales and growth targets.
