Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Account Manager for a leading M&E/Construction provider in London. You will manage a portfolio of key accounts, nurture relationships with principal contractors and sub-contractors, and drive major new business from existing and new clients.

The role offers a salary of £50,000-£58,000 depending on experience, plus Car Allowance, Annual Bonus, and Work from Home, with opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within an Account Management role in an engineering, construction or technical business.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and growth of allocated accounts.
• Lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
• Negotiate and close agreements to maximise profits.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts e.g. through GAP analysis.
• Communicate progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
• Forecast and track key account metrics.
• Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
• Devise a strategy for each individual customer with a clear plan of action for the quarter ahead.
