Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an experienced Account Manager from a technical background to join the M&E/construction sector in the UK. You will manage a portfolio of key accounts, develop new business, and drive profitable growth with principal contractors and sub-contractors, including travel as needed.

In this role you will liaise with internal teams to enhance the customer experience, prepare sales reports, and negotiate favourable terms.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management within engineering/construction sectors.
• Proven ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders and drive revenue.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow the assigned accounts.
• Lead point of contact for customer account management matters.
• Negotiate and close agreements to maximise profits.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and identify growth opportunities.
• Forecast and track key account metrics.
• Coordinate with internal teams to improve the customer experience.
