Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an experienced Account Manager for the M&E / Construction sector in London. You will manage a portfolio of key accounts, develop new business opportunities, and work closely with internal teams to improve the overall customer experience.

The role focuses on maintaining strong client relationships, negotiating contracts, and delivering growth from both existing and new customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within an Account Management role in an engineering, construction or technical business.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and develop new business opportunities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow allocated accounts.
• Serve as lead point of contact for customer account management matters.
• Build and maintain long-lasting client relationships and negotiate/close agreements.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and communicate progress of initiatives.
• Forecast and track key account metrics and respond to client requests or escalations.
• Devise strategies for individual customers with action plans for the quarter ahead.
