Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an experienced Account Manager (M&E / Construction) to manage a portfolio of technical clients in the Cambridge / East Anglia area. You will develop major new business from principal contractors and main sub-contractors, using your engineering background to deliver trusted, long-term relationships and repeat revenue.

On offer is an account management role with a clear plan per quarter, a competitive salary of £45,000–£50,000, a car allowance, an annual bonus

Qualificações

• Proven experience within an Account Management role in an engineering, construction or technical business.

Responsabilidades

• Maintenance and growth of allocated accounts
• Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
• Negotiate and close agreements to maximise profits
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts e.g. through GAP analysis
• Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
• Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
• Forecast and track key account metrics
• Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
• Devise a strategy for each individual customer with a clear plan of action for the quarter ahead
