Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are working with a successful manufacturing business in Oldbury to recruit a Strategic Account Manager into their growing commercial team.
This is a newly created position for someone who is driven, commercially minded and confident taking accountability for a diverse portfolio of customers.
You’ll be managing relationships across around 250 clients, ranging from straightforward day-to-day queries around timelines and deliveries through to more complex conversations around products, technical requirements and tailored solutions.
But this isn’t simply a role where you manage orders and respond to enquiries.
The opportunity is to really get under the skin of your customers and the business.
Initially, you’ll spend time meeting the existing client base, understanding their businesses, challenges and future requirements. From there, you’ll identify opportunities to strengthen relationships, increase customer value and grow the accounts you manage, while also developing new opportunities with businesses across the wider sector
You’ll be joining an established team of Account Managers, but this is a new role with a clear focus on strategic account development and long-term growth.
You’ll work closely with the Commercial Director, giving you genuine exposure to the wider commercial strategy of the business.
There is also a strong track record of progression within the organisation. The Commercial Director herself progressed from Account Manager to her current position within eight years, so this is a business that genuinely invests in people who demonstrate drive, ownership and ambition.
