Job summary

Saab UK is hiring a Stores Operative for Fareham Introduction. You will handle receiving, processing and organizing stock, picking orders, packing for courier collections, and maintaining safe, clean stores.

The role supports MRP-driven logistics and requires willingness to learn quickly in a defence sector environment. Experience in warehouses, ERP systems, and at-height work is valued; forklift experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or stores experience.
• Experience working at height required.
• Experience with ERP systems and forklifts desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods and materials.
• Process goods receipt documentation and scan.
• Pick work orders and sales orders.
• Label, pack and ship orders with accuracy.
• Maintain stock accuracy and undertake housekeeping.
• Follow manual handling guidelines.
• Respond to hatch enquiries with appropriate urgency.
• Support waste collection in line with business requirements.
