Job summary

Saab UK stores operative role at Fareham Introduction involves receiving and processing inwards stock, picking and packing orders, and ensuring accurate stock control in a busy environment. You will operate in line with MRP schedules and maintain high levels of warehouse safety and hygiene.

The role requires previous warehouse or stores experience, willingness to learn, and the ability to work at height. Occasional forklift use is desirable, and familiarity with ERP systems will help you perform

Qualifications

• Warehouse or stores experience is desirable.
• Working at height is required for this role.
• Experience with ERP systems is expected.
• Forklift experience is desirable.
• Enthusiastic and hardworking with a willingness to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods and materials accurately and in line with the MRP schedule.
• Process all goods receipt documentation, including scanning and addressing booking-in issues.
• Locate stock into correct locations, ensure safe storage and stock rotation.
• Pick work orders and sales orders from picking lists with high accuracy.
• Follow manual handling guidelines and ensure proper lifting equipment is used when needed.
• Keep the yard clean, organized, and stock stored correctly, including COSHH cabinet and oil store.
• Assist with waste collection processing and respond to hatch enquiries with urgency.
