Job summary

Saab UK is recruiting a Stores Operative to support our Fareham Introduction site. You will receive and process goods, pick orders, pack and label for courier collections, and maintain stock accuracy in a busy stores environment.

The role requires prior warehouse experience, ability to work at height, and familiarity with ERP systems; forklift experience is desirable. A proactive, hardworking attitude and willingness to learn quickly are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or stores environments.
• Ability to work at height.
• Experience with ERP systems and stock control.
• Forklift experience is desirable.
• Enthusiastic and hardworking with a can-do attitude.
• Willing to learn quickly and adapt to processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process and store goods in accordance with the delivery schedule.
• Scan and record goods inwards and resolve booking issues with purchasing.
• Locate stock in correct locations and ensure stock rotation.
• Pick Work Orders and Sales Orders accurately from picking lists.
• Pack and label goods; ensure safe handling and containment to prevent contamination or damage.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety in the stores area; follow manual handling guidelines.
• Support waste processing and respond to enquiries with urgency.
• Keep systems and stock records up to date; report discrepancies.
• Prepare crates and packing materials for courier collections.
