Job summary

Holt Engineering in Bournemouth is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Operative to join a busy team. You will handle goods in/out, loading/unloading with a Counterbalance forklift, and prepare items for dispatch while maintaining stock accuracy and supporting local deliveries.

We value candidates with a Counterbalance forklift licence, a full UK driving licence and relevant warehouse/stores experience. A proactive, detail-oriented, team-focused approach will help you thrive in this varied role.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (ESSENTIAL).
• Clean Full UK Driving Licence (ESSENTIAL).
• Experience in stores, warehouse, logistics or supply chain.
• Comfortable with manual handling, picking, packing and stock movement.
• Good attention to detail and a reliable approach to work.
• Team player who is happy to get stuck in and support where needed.

Responsibilities

Are you an experienced Stores, Warehouse or Supply Chain Operative looking for your next opportunity?

We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Operative to join a busy team in Bournemouth, supporting the day-to-day movement, storage and distribution of goods.

This is a hand-on stores-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is confident working across goods in, goods out, forklift operations and general logistics.

The Role

Managing goods in and goods out, ensuring deliveries and dispatches are processed accurately.

Loading and unloading vehicles using a Counterbalance Forklift.

Picking, packing, labelling and preparing goods for dispatch.

Driving company vans to support local deliveries and collections when required.

Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring goods are stored correctly.

Supporting general stores, warehouse and logistics operations to keep the department running efficiently.

Working closely with internal teams, couriers and suppliers to ensure goods move smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence – ESSENTIAL
• Clean Full UK Driving Licence – ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience in stores, warehouse, logistics or supply chain.
