Job summary

Holt Engineering in Bournemouth is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Operative to join a busy team. You will handle goods in/out, loading/unloading with a Counterbalance forklift, and prepare items for dispatch while maintaining stock accuracy and supporting local deliveries.

We value candidates with a Counterbalance forklift licence, a full UK driving licence and relevant warehouse/stores experience. A proactive, detail-oriented, team-focused approach will help you thrive in this varied role.

Qualifications

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (ESSENTIAL).
Clean Full UK Driving Licence (ESSENTIAL).
Experience in stores, warehouse, logistics or supply chain.
Comfortable with manual handling, picking, packing and stock movement.
Good attention to detail and a reliable approach to work.
Team player who is happy to get stuck in and support where needed.

Responsibilities

Manage goods in and goods out; ensure deliveries and dispatches are accurate.
Load and unload vehicles using a Counterbalance Forklift.
Pick, pack, label and prepare goods for dispatch.
Drive company vans to support local deliveries and collections.
Maintain accurate stock records and store goods correctly.
Support general stores, warehouse and logistics operations to keep the department running smoothly.
Work closely with internal teams, couriers and suppliers to keep goods moving.
