Job summary

Travail Employment Group is seeking a Forklift & Stores Operator in Corby. This day shift role involves managing stock levels, loading/unloading deliveries, and picking, packing and despatching orders. You will operate Counterbalance and Bendi forklifts, complete paperwork, and maintain a clean stores area.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence is required.
• Valid Bendi forklift licence is required.
• Full UK driving licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock levels and records.
• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Pick, pack and despatch customer orders.
• Operate Counterbalance and Bendi forklift trucks.
• Complete works orders and despatch documentation.
• Keep stores environment clean, safe and well organised.
• Assist with customer collections when required.
• Deliver parts to field engineers as needed.
• Support Stores Team Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Follow all Health and Safety procedures.

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm (Early Finish Every Week)

Overtime paid at Time & Half after 39 hours

Due to continued growth, our client, a well-established and highly respected manufacturing business in Corby, is looking to strengthen its warehouse team with the addition of a reliable and motivated Forklift & Stores Operator.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll play a key part in keeping stock moving efficiently, supporting production and ensuring customers receive excellent service. You'll be joining a friendly, supportive team with excellent staff retention and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing and maintaining accurate stock levels
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
• Picking, packing and despatching customer orders
• Operating Counterbalance and Bendi forklift trucks

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised stores environment

• Supporting the Stores Team Manager with day-to-day operations
• Always Following all Health & Safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Previous stores, warehouse or logistics experience
• Valid Counterbalance and Bendi forklift licences
• Full UK driving licence
• Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Team player who can also work independently
• Flexible approach when business needs require it
