East of England Co-op is seeking a Team Manager for our Colchester area store. You will lead a trusted team, deputise for the Branch Manager when needed, and ensure outstanding customer service while keeping the branch safe and compliant. You’ll also build local community links and promote Co-op membership.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in a retail or similar environment.
• Ability to support and motivate others to achieve high standards.
• Flexible, hard-working and confident with a proactive approach.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both customers and colleagues.
• Friendly attitude with a genuine commitment to great customer service.

Responsabilités

• Lead your team and manage people processes end-to-end.
• Deputise for the Branch Manager when required and be in sole charge at times.
• Maintain high standards and deliver excellent customer service.
• Ensure the branch operates safely and legally at all times.
• Build relationships with other stores and the local community, and promote membership.
