East of England Co-op are recruiting a Team Manager for our store in Stowmarket. You will lead and support a team, deputise for the Branch Manager, and work to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining safe, compliant store operations.

You will build local community links, promote membership, and help drive store performance. A flexible, customer‑driven attitude and strong team leadership are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a retail setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing store needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead your team and support all aspects of people management.
• Deputise for the Branch Manager and sometimes run the store solo.
• Maintain top standards and deliver excellent customer service.
• Ensure store operations are safe and compliant with regulations.
• Build relationships with other stores, colleagues and the local community.
• Promote and grow store memberships.
