Job summary

Co-op Portland store in Weymouth is looking for a Customer Team Leader to manage a small team during varied shifts. You will lead the day-to-day store operations, support tills, and drive merchandizing and stock control while delivering excellent customer service.

This part-time role (20 hours/wk) includes overtime, 18+ minimum, and opportunities to engage with local community and Co-op membership growth. Benefits include training and discounts as part of our member-driven community.

Qualifications

• Leading a small team in a fast-paced store.
• Retail or team management experience preferred but not essential.
• Able to work varied shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on your shift.
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations.
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members.
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.
• Champion Co-op through community engagement and membership growth.
