Job summary

Co-op Group is looking for a Customer Team Leader to guide a small store team in a fast-paced retail setting. You will help deliver essential services to the community, potentially working in the post office or bakery, and support online services and home deliveries.

You will own day-to-day store operations on your shift, coach your team, ensure smooth tills and merchandising, and champion Co-op membership through community engagement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ to authorise age-related sales.
• Flexible to work varied shifts including weekends.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate a small team.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading your shift.
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations.
• Lead on tills and shop-floor operations to set the pace for Customer Team Members.
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.
• Champion Co-op membership and community engagement to drive growth.
