Job summary

PUMA UNITED KINGDOM LTD in Greater London is looking for a proactive Store Manager Assistant to drive sales, coach staff, and ensure exceptional customer experience in line with PUMA values.

You will support store performance, manage payroll and scheduling, oversee inventory and loss prevention, and lead on floor engagement, training, and store operations, including openings and closings when required.

Qualifications

• Sales leadership and achieving sales/KPI targets.
• Strong customer service aligned with brand values.
• Experience in recruiting, training and developing store staff.
• Ability to analyse performance metrics and drive improvements.
• Proficiency in payroll, scheduling, inventory, and loss prevention.
• Ability to coach on the shop floor and lead by example.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours and store events.

Responsibilities

• Achieve Sales Goals: Ensure store meets or exceeds sales, KPIs, and profitability targets.
• Customer Experience: Maintain high standards of customer service in line with PUMA's values.
• Team Management: Recruit, train, develop, and manage high-performing team; accountability via coaching and feedback.
• Salesfloor Engagement: Spend 90% of time on the sales floor engaging with customers and coaching employees.
• Store Operations: Supervise store performance and daily operations; participate in openings/closings; travel may be required.
• Payroll and Scheduling: Manage payroll and create schedules to ensure profitability and service quality.
• Training Programs: Ensure completion and effectiveness of training programs.
• Loss Prevention: Oversee loss prevention and operational compliance.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory, including counts and shrink goals.
• Compliance and Safety: Maintain a safe and compliant working environment; adherence to policies.
