Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a Shift Lead to guide the store team and deliver a great customer experience across all areas. Availability windows are provided to structure your shifts, with at least 3 weeks' notice and a minimum of 16 hours per week; you must be 18 or over to apply.

You’ll lead by example, coach colleagues, and act as the in-store go-to person, stepping in for the Manager when needed and helping the team stay flexible and responsive to customer needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in team leadership or management in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Availability to work within store windows and commit to at least 16 hours per week.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Leading the store team to deliver a great customer experience in-store.
• Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, acting as the day-to-day go-to person for operational queries.
• Building positive, inclusive relationships to help colleagues perform at their best.
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager's absence.
• Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change.
• Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and modelling great service.
• Staying curious and seeking opportunities to serve our customers and communities.
