Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a Shift Lead to help run store operations and deliver excellent customer service. You will lead a team, cover multiple store areas, and act as the go-to person for daily queries, coaching colleagues and stepping in for the Manager when needed.

Availability windows are set by the store with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week. Pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in M25 stores.

• Experience in a team lead or management role in fast-paced retail.
• Strong role model with passion for delivering great service.
• Clear communicator with ability to keep the team informed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to deliver a great in-store customer experience.
• Work across all areas of the store and with colleagues on day-to-day operations.
• Be the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
• Lead the store in the Manager's absence.
• Coach colleagues and give feedback to model great service.
• Foster inclusive relationships and adapt to change.
