Job summary

B&Q Barnstaple is seeking a Shift Lead to help create a safe, welcoming shopping environment. You’ll oversee a shift, deploy colleagues, and ensure operations run smoothly from early to late hours.

The role is a keyholder position, with shifts starting as early as 5am and finishing by 10pm, supporting a busy retail store in the local community. This permanent contract offers a full-time equivalent salary of £27,709.50 per annum plus a competitive benefits package, including a pension, 6.6 weeks

Responsibilities

• Be the heartbeat of the store day-to-day and ensure operations are running smoothly.
• Make sure colleagues are deployed correctly to ‘make every customer count’ throughout your shift.
• Be the first point of contact for customers and colleagues.
• Make sure our stores are safe at all times.
